Proud of everyone I know who’s at the Capitol building in Austin right now.  Between #Standwithwendy and the SB5 shenanigans in Texas, the gutting of the VRA, and particularly Obama’s war on leaks (including the demonization of Edward Snowden and the journalists he spoke to), I think it’s important to go on the record about the importance of speaking up against the abusive exercise of government power. So, props to Wendy Davis, Mark Udall and Ron Wyden, John Lewis, et al, and particularly my friends in Austin who are standing up for fundamental human rights and values.
